Active Protectors

The first responders to any active shooter situation is not SWAT teams, rather patrol officers or detectives who happen to be near by. I planned this drawing for almost a year.
These officers whose lives can go from zero to 60 in the blink of an eye don’t wait for their SWAT team. They don’t stand back and wait for the armored personnel carrier. They go in to PROTECT our kids. They run to the sound of the gunfire, even though they fully know that they may not come back.
