Some people go to offices, construction sites, farms, and schools for their daily mundane jobs. For SWAT operators, you never know what is ahead of them. It can be a 12-hour standby mode with all the heavy gears on while the negotiators talk them down to surrender the situation or "Breach, breach, breach" and the whole thing can be over in less than 30 seconds.
